Project Brief
This property was originally acquired after sitting vacant for a number of years. Our busy client contacted us to take care of everything from inception to completion. We were appointed as Project Managers, Cost Consultants and Contract Administrators to lead the conversion of 235 Whitley Road from retail into mixed use. The brief was clear, our client wanted three things: minimal involvement, high rental yields and a quality finish.What We Did
We worked with our trusted industry partners to first come up with concept design and layouts. Following client approval, we submitted and obtained planning permission and change of use. The works included the refurbishment of a ground floor retail unit into a pharmacy, remodelled to create a dedicated staff area to the rear as well as separate accommodation access to a two bedroom flat with an en-suite and a large open plan living space and a generous one bedroom flat on the top floor.
