WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
"As a progressive property development company, Kingsmead is always looking to align its objectives and business ethos with its professional team. We have only been working with Javaad at Consult North for a relatively short period of time but are hugely impressed with the positive attitude and professionalism that he has brought to our projects. His proactive and commercially minded approach is a breath of fresh air and we are looking forward to working with Javaad and Consult North for many years to come
Javaad of Consult North did a fine job of coordinating the construction of our
Phase 1 retail and leisure development at South Beach in Blyth, Northumberland.
They offer a commercial and user friendly approach with no drama and we look
forward to working together on Phase 2 and beyond."

Project Brief
The Links is a recently completed retail park which was previously the site of a farm. The farm had stood empty for a number of years and until an opportunity arose to create value for local residents - plans were proposed to transform the space into a retail park. Having struggled to drive the project forward for over 3 years, Viscount Ridley and the Blagdon Estate appointed Consult North as Project Managers to assist the client in the redevelopment of the former Link House Farm agricultural land into a modern retail park. What We Did
We were tasked with carrying out a client-specific role negating the need for any client input into the project. The client did not descend from a construction background and due to their political and other business interests, desired no involvement in the day to day duties of the construction project. We carried out regular site visits and dealt with any issues. On completion, we approved tenant fit outs and liaised with them until opening. Regular reporting in a digestible format was key to this project for the client requirements mentioned above. We were awarded complete autonomy and made decisions based on the better interests of our client. The existing buildings were demolished under an enabling contract to make way for the new development. The multi-unit retail park provides over 16,000 sq ft of lettable space with a mix of regional and national operators providing their goods and services to the local community.
The project has been successfully delivered and tenants are fitting out their units and some tenants are trading.
Whether you’re investing in a property or infrastructure project, let Consult North be your partner in managing construction projects.
